How to Reach
By Air
Fly from your point of origin to Bhuj Airport (BHJ) which is located 4 kms outside the town of Bhuj in the Kutchh District of Gujarat, India.
From Bhuj Airport:
Vande Mataram Memorial is located in Bhujodi village, 13 kilometres from Bhuj Airport on the Bhuj – Bhachau Highway. Book a pre-paid taxi from Bhuj Airport to Bhuj town or directly to Vande Mataram Memorial.
With taxi or car, head north-west, turn right towards Airport Ring Rd, Follow NH341 to Bhujodi. Turn right at Bhujodi Bus stop onto Hiralaxmi Craft Park Road, and the journey is 11.6kms should take around 25 minutes if there’s not too much traffic. Rickshaws and private transport options are available from Bhuj to Bhujodi.
By Train
Bhuj is connected by rail to major Indian cities like Ahmedabad, Surat, Baroda, Mumbai, Delhi, etc. Private Taxis, Public Buses and Auto Rickshaws are available from Bhuj Railway Station to Bhuj town or directly to Bhujodi Village, where Vande Mataram Memorial is located.
By Car
Whether an experienced driver or a novice, you will have no problem reaching Vande Mataram Memorial! From Downtown Bhuj, Follow Anjar – Bhuj Highway / Madhapar Rd to NH341 to Bhujodi, till you see Bhujodi Bus Stop. Turn right at Bhujodi Bus Stop onto ‘Hiralaxmi Craft Park Road’. The journey is 9.5kms and shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes.
By Public Transport
Take the State Transport Bus towards Bhujodi. From there on, take an Auto Rickshaw for the remaining short distance towards Vande Mataram Memorial on ‘Hiralaxmi Memorial Park Road’.
State Transport buses as well as private buses are available from Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Baroda and Surat to Bhujodi Village. Shared Auto Rickshaws (locally named “Chhakada Rickshaws”) are available from Bhuj to Bhujodi.
Parking
A designated Parking Area is are available for Visitors to Vande Mataram Memorial and Hiralaxmi Craft Park. Free parking applies to all at the front of the premises under the surveillance of the Memorial security guards.
Memorial Services
First Aid: If you get a cut or scrape, head over to our First Aid stations, situated at multiple locations: Admin Office, Souvenir Shop and Cafeteria.
Lockers: All-day storage lockers are available for visitors to Vande Mataram Memorial, Hiralaxmi Craft Park and the Grounds. Enjoy your experience burden-free!
Accessibility: Visit our Inquiry Counter to learn more about the services we offer guests with disabilities. A life is available inside the Parliament building which houses the 4-D Experience.
Food and Drinks
Drinking Water: Clean, filtered and free drinking water is available at the Mineral Water Cooler situated inside the Yellow Fort.
Food and Drinks: Inside the Yellow Fort, visit our cafeteria which is a fine dining experience which transports you back to an older, happier time. With interiors and cuisine set to impress, this venue is royal and fit for up to 80 people.
